Student Ministry

Purpose & Mission

The purpose of Morningside’s Student Ministry is to see teenagers enter into a personal relationship with God and then begin to grow in that relationship with Him.
The mission of the Student Ministry at Morningside Baptist is to impact the world by equipping students to: KNOW Christ, OWN their faith in Christ, and make Christ KNOWN among their friends and family.

Weekly Schedule

Sunday Morning Small Groups: 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

Sunday morning Small Groups are great because classes are organized based on age and gender, so students are able to develop strong friendships with other students their age and work through real-life issues they face. Small Groups offered are:

  • High School Guys
  • Middle School Girls
  • Middle School Guys
All students meet in the Student Center at 9:00 a.m. for a time of hanging out, announcements, and prayer. At 9:15 a.m. students are released to their Small Groups.
Currently, each Small Group is studying “Essential Connection: Character of God”
