The Preeminence of Christ

Could you imagine writing a letter to a church where you have never been, to a people who you have never met? While in a prison cell in Rome, the Apostle Paul received word from Epaphras, the church leader in Colossae, that the Gospel had spread and the church was well. However, the church was being threatened by those who would embrace religious pluralism. These were people who would ascribe equal credibility to all religions. In so doing, they were assaulting the Gospel. This same problem exists today. Our celebration of religious diversity has led to great theological confusion. We are people with a great need for Biblical clarity of the Gospel. In Colossians, the Apostle Paul provides us with that clarity. Join us this summer as we will see the exclusivity of the Gospel and the all sufficiency of our King Jesus, and together we will celebrate the Preeminence of Christ.
