Good News Club at Buck Lake Elementary |

| Last school year (2007/2008), Morningside Baptist Church partnered with CEF
(Child Evangelism Fellowship) and Four Oaks Community Church to offer the Good News Club at
Buck Lake Elementary School. What a great success! For Good News Club's second year at Buck
Lake Elementary School (2008/2009 school year), Morningside Baptist Church is partnering with
CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship). This club provides the opportunity for children in the
public schools to hear the Gospel and learn truth from God's Word.
Volunteers from Morningside and Four Oaks will teach and present an exciting Bible lesson
using colorful materials from CEF Press®. This action-packed time also includes songs,
Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the
lesson's theme.
The Good News Club will be held at Buck Lake Elementary School every Tuesday of the 2008/2009
school year in conjunction with the After School Care program. Time: 3:00 - 4:00pm.
The first meeting will be held September 16. Please contact the church office at 878-5503 for
